Hi, Daniel. Likely, you need to select all the cells, then Format-->Cells,
Alignment tab and uncheck the merge cells box. After that, you can
troubleshoot any other issues. See:

Daniel, Anne is right but not specific enough. There is a cell that is merged
within your spreadsheet and you can't have any merged items in order to sort.
After you have corrected your merge problem, highlight the spreadsheet and
sort it like you want it.
