I want to delete w worksheet. Under edit, delete, 'delete sheet' is grayed out. When I left click on the tab, it is grayed out. Under tools, protection, 'protect worksheet' is grayed out. Check to ensure that you are not "editing" a cell in the workbook or there are no message boxes that need attention. Don >I want to delete w worksheet. Sheet protection does not prevent deleting the sheet, just prtects changes to the sheet. You may have workbook protection enabled. Have a look there or at Tools>Share Workbook.
