I have a list of ID numbers and I want to see the duplicates and delete all
the other records.

I have tried the Advanced Filter and it does not filter the list...

I know that it can't be too difficult to filter out.

Assuming ID numbers in Column A, and header in row 1. Create a helper column
in B

In B2: =COUNTIF($A$2:A2,A2)>1
AutoFilter all the TRUE, select all the filter rows, go to menu select Edit,
Delete Row, then delete the Helper column
