I have a spreadsheet that has manual calculation turned on. My problem is
that after turning automatic calculation on then saving and exiting the
spreadsheet this change will not be saved. The next time I open the file
manual calculation is on again. I only have this problem on this one
particular file. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas for making automatic
calculation stay on in this file. Any help at all would be greatly
appreciated.

This setting depends on the setting in the first workbook opened in Excel. Alls subsequent files opened in the same session will
get that setting until explicitly changed, and then it will be for all open workbooks again.
