I know this is an easy one for you wizzes, but it escapes me at the moment
and I never seem to have the right terminology to look up what I am trying to
do.
I have two columns of data (A, B) and a third that is the result of a
calculation of A & B
(A*B=C). I need column C to become static data rather than the formula as
columns A & B will eventually be removed.
I know it's simple - sorry and thanks!

One way:
Select column C. Copy. Choose Edit/Paste Special, selecting the Values
radio button. Click OK.

In C1: =A1*B1 (hit F9 key instead of hit Enter key)
