Formating Longitude and Latitude

I am having difficulty entering data in a cell as Longitude or Latititude. Is
there a way to format a cell for these? If not, how do I indicate the
minutes? I found the degree symbol but I don't know how to enter it without
going to 'insert symbol' each time I want to use it. I need the entries to be
recognized as coordinates as I am importing to a mapping program.

Any help would be appreciated by this computer rookie.
