Hi,

I need a help on subtotalling: I have a 32 excel sheet, each of them has the
revenue and 500 client name and the industry they represent. Need to subtotal
each industry with various clients. The Final table should be as follows on
each sheet.

Company     Revenue         Industry        Total

ABC             10                FMCG
YXT             20                FMCG
CFT             20                FMCG
JYT              30                FMCG            FMCG Sub Total (10+20+20)
rty               10                Ind'l
DFG             20                Ind'l
IOP             20                 Ind'l
KOP             30                Ind'l            Ind'l Sub Total
(10+20+20+30)
LOP             10                Health
YUP             20                Health
EOP             20                Health
POP             30                Health          Health Sub Total
(10+20+20+30)

Use Excel's Subtotal feature.

Select the top left cell of your data
Goto the menu Data>Subtotal
At each change in Industry
Use function Sum
Add subtotal to Revenue
Summary below data
OK
