copy/paste not working

You don't state what happens when you try it. So .......... hard to guess at

Any number of things could prevent copy/paste.

What happens instead of copy and paste working?

Message that you can't do this?

Nothing?    Excel shuts down?

Nothing on the clipboard?

Please give us a hint.

I had a weird anamoloy in Excel where the quick keys [Ctrl]+C was not
copying, instead it appeared to randomly delete a column of data.  A very
undesirable effect.  So to correct the issue I went to the add/remove
programs and selected the Microsoft Office Professional Edition 2003, then
clicked  "Click here for Support" and selected "Repair".  The repairs process
took <10minutes and corrected this strange behavior.  Hope this helps.
