Hi

I have a spreadsheet with 5 columns:

A = date an e-mail received
B = time e-mail received on that date
C = date e-mail replied to
D = time e-mail replaied to on that date e-mail
E = was the e-mail replied to within agreed time limit?

The agreed time limit is 24 hours.

I'd be happy enough coming up with a formula to input Y or N into colmun E,
if I only knew how to subract a time AND date from another time and date.

Can anyone advise, please?

Many thanks.

Keith

Hi David

Many thanks for this, but can you tell me what format the respective columns
need to be in so that this formaula will work?

Cheers.

Keith

Any Excel date or time format.  Not text.
