Excel 2007- How can I get the font color to change automatically to red when
I am using the Percentage Format in Cells and the answer is a negative
number?  The dollar format works perfect but there is no option in the
percentage format to allow this to happen.  I assume I have to use some
conditional formatting but I have not been able to find one that works and
it's driving me crazy.  Is there anyone that can help with this problem??

Hi,

you need to create a custom format.

here is one possible example: 0.00%;[Red]-0.00%

Choose Home, and click the quick launch button in the Numbers group, choose
Custom and enter the above on the Type line.

Cheers,
