For no charge, where would there be an email submission tool ?...
for converting .xls to pdf or converting .xls to plain text ascii
something like the email submission tool at
cern conversion service

Hi Don,
Would be best if you stuck to one thread. So the conversion email
service that you list does not show Excel to PDF because you need
a printed report to get to PDF. You can use the service if you
print to a PostScript printer but as a file. Then attach that file
to your email to send to the Cern Conversion Service.
Note the other documents are a single document and you print them
so the Cern Conversion Service can convert that to PDF. But with
Excel it would not know what you want to print.
It would be a lot faster and more efficient and more secure for you
to do the conversion on your own machine. See my previous reply
in your other thread.
Your other option that you indicated was to create a txt file
that is an option when you print. Forget about the Print toolbar
button you want to use File, Print and make your choices
as to printer or file.
