Hi,
I copied a worksheet from 1 workbook over to another
workbook. The formulae in both workbooks depended heavily
on a certain integer which is contained in a certain cell,
which is defined by a name. The same name has been used
for this cell in both workbooks. When I copied the
worksheet from one book to the other, I must have
accidently told the worksheet to relate the name to the
value in the cell from the workbook it was being copied
out of and not whatever was define in the workbook it was
being copied into. So now no matter what value I put in
the cell in the new workbook, the integer value of the
name in the copied over worksheet keeps the same as what
its value was in the old workbook. Is there any way of
changing this, so that the name will now relate to the
number contained in the cell in the new workbook?

With that worksheet active, go into Insert / Name / Define
You will probably see a worksheet-level version of the name (the
worksheet name will appear at the right hand side of the list box
alongside the name).
Select that name and delete it.
The formulas will then use the workbook-level name.
