I want to filter only one column in my spreadsheet.  I can seem to only
filter all the columns in a row by going to Data, Filter, autofilter.  But
this makes me filter all the columns.  I just want to filter one specific
column so I don't see the filters on the other columns.  Can I do this??

Select the range you want to filter--not just a single cell.

Then apply data|filter|autofilter.
