Hello,

I am a new user to Excel. I am working with a spreadsheet
that and I want to pull the formula for one spreadsheet to
another. What are the procedures for copying the formula.

Thanks,
Lisa

Lisa,

Try entering the tab name of the sheet from which you want
to copy the formula from in a cell in the sheet you want
to copy to and follow it with an exclamation point ! and
follow it with the cell name of the sheet you're copying
from. Be sure to start with an equal sign.

Good Luck

Hi Lisa

You could also do the following if you just want to move
the formula !!
Click on the cell with formula in it, Highlight the
formula in the in the formula bar and Click Ctrl+C,
Now go to your new sheet and selct the cell you want to
put the formula in and Click Ctrl+V

Lisa

That would depend upon your interpretaion of "spreadsheet", which is a generic
term for any application that crunches numbers.

In Excel a workbook is a file.

In each workbook there can be many worksheets.

Are you speaking about worksheets in a workbook?

Please elucidate.
