COPY FROM SEARCH

BY INTERNET DO YOU MEAN INTERNET EXPLORER OR WINDOWS
EXPLORER?  I KNOW THAT I CAN COPY AND PASTE ANYTHING FROM
THE INTERNET BUT I WANT TO COPY A LIST OF FILES AND PASTE
IT INTO EXCEL.  THANKS.

Yes, I was referring to an internet document.  I have further researched
your quandry of printing out a listing of files from Windows Explorer (My
Computer, et al).  Not easy.  I found this on the Microsoft knowledge base
(for XP):

It is very involved, will NOT work from a search (you'd have to copy the
files from the search and place the copies in a new directory), then set your
default printer to something that will print to a file (e.g. Microsoft Office
Document Image Writer).  You then print to a file, open the file, copy/paste
into Excel.  I suppose once all the set up is done, this would be much easier
than typing in several entries by hand.

Maybe someone else has a better way.
