When entering 2003 dates the day() feature works corrcetly.  However for 2004
it shows the wrong days.

It works fine, you probably misunderstood the function.
What do you excpect to get for let's say

October 18, 2004

?

You should get 18, what do you get?

Hi

2003 is a Windows application, 2004 is a Mac application. They use different
calendars by default. Are you sure that the dates are what you think they
are on each system ? You can see day, month and year in the date cells on
both, and they display what you think they ought to ?

Best wishes Harald
