Ok, well, i have been set the task of making an invoice system that eve

What we have been asked to do also if to make it so the customer numbe
is automatically put in each time an 'entry' is put in (so they don'
have to put it in). I have no idea how to do this?

Can anyone help?

Cheers.

Hi

as far as i can see, to achive what you're after you'll need to create your
own VBA form rather than using the Form from the Data menu.

You could possibly do it without using the data form and use another
worksheet set up as the input sheet with data / validation used to provide a
list of current customers and VLOOKUP to populate the form with related
data - i have an example invoicing workbook set up like this (with an
example of a VBA user form in it as well) - if you'ld like to email me
direct (julied_ng  at hcts dot net dot au) i can send it to you.

Cheers
