In excel I want to change the unit of measure cm to inches. It's in the size
tab of the format picture

Tony

This is a function of your Windows OS settings and not an Excel setting.

Open Control Panel then double-click Regional and Language Settings.

Under Regional Options>Customize>Number change from Metric to US

Just a note for the archives: In MacXL, you can set the unit of measure
on the fly to inches, cm, and mm in Preferences/General.

It's nothing you change in Excel, it's in your regional settings in the
control panel
