Hello,

I am a new user to Excel -- I apologize in advance if I don't have the
correct vocabulary for my problem.

I am using Excel 2007.  I have accidentally "locked" my Excel file (I was
trying to execute a command in another program and clicked on my open
spreadsheet by mistake).  Although I can see all of the content and navigate
between both sheets, I cannot select any of the cells.  My hunch is that this
has something to do with the Protect function, but the sheet and workbook do
not appear to be protected.  I cannot simply Undo this mistake as I closed
the file, thinking this would solve the problem, but the locking appears to
have been saved.

Please help if you can!  Thank you.

OK, this is weird, but the problem appears to be solved.  I clicked on one
cell about 5 times in a row, and suddenly the sheet unlocked and I can select
cells again.  So I guess my problem is solved.
