Using Excel 2000. My default network printer is set to 600 Dpi graphics
resolution. (From control panel in Win 98)
When I create a new Excel file and try printing I get a dots where shaded
areas should be and other problem with the graphics on the sheet (nothing
fancy, just cell formatting and borders)
From within Excel (File-->Print-->Properties-->Graphics), printer setup
shows my graphics resolution to be 75 Dpi, if I change it back to 600 Dpi,
Excel prints fine.
My question is, why does Excel default to 75 Dpi res if the printer being
used has a default 600 Dpi res ? Should Excel not at least use the default
Dpi set from the control panel for the selected printer ?
Thanks
Andre
