I am in Excel 2002 and the sheets in my workbook are set to print portrait.
Is there an easy way I can change all the sheets to landscape without
opening each individual sheet?

Select the first sheet, hold down shift, then select the last sheet. All
sheets in between should get selected as well. Now change the page setup as
desired and, when you're done, right click on any sheet and select "Ungroup
sheets".

Right-click a sheet tab and "Select All".
Do your page/printer setup to Landscape and all sheets will be that format.
There are some Print Setup features that cannot be done while in "Group" mode,
but this one can.
DO NOT FORGET!! to right-click and "Ungroup" when done. If you forget, what
you do to one sheet will be done to the others.
If you want just some non-contiguous sheets in your array, select first sheet
then CRTL + Click on those you want.
SHIFT + Click will select contiguous sheets.
