Is there a way to edit the build in headers and footers in MS Excel?

I want to creat my own built in header and footer that will be available in
every workbook.

Easiest way I can think of is to create a simple macro,
store it in the Personal Macro Workbook and create an icon
to sit on your standard toolbar.
