Hi, I have an enterprise wide issue here (about 12 PC's) on a SBS2004 LAN
where printing from Excel doesn't work after awhile. All other apps print.
You hit the print button to the FujiXerox printer and the pop up shows it is
printing but nothing happens. Re-booting PC's fixes it, but only for awhile
(a couple of hours maybe).
Is this a memory issue (all PC's ar running XP with 512MB RAM) with Excel?
Memory loss or something like that? Even shutting down apps and then trying
to print doesn't help. Only a reboot.
Many thanks in advance.

This sounds more like a spooling issue.

Before you reboot those PC's, double click on the printer
icon in the system tray.  Does it list all the print jobs
initiated by Excel?

Since you're on a Lan, you're probably printing from a
print server.  Might check those settings as well. You may
be maxing out the print server upon sending multiple print
requests.

I don't think Excel itself would cause this to happen.
