Hello,
we got a little problem with Excel, we can not print our
worksheets.
The printing dialog appears, everything is working normal
but it wont print anything. The printer queue is also
empty.
In Word and Powerpoint everything works fine.
Excel creates strange files with names like: 矦??惞知ፗ狷騠ಘ
Where the printjob is in (with pcl commands) but wont
print it.
Also when Excel shows the Spooler dialog the Printer name
shows Asian chracters, how is this Possible?
Thanks in advance, Bernd Rauschert

Bernd
Is 'Print to file' selected in the print dialog?

No it isn´t. I just reinstalled the printers, deleted the
Temporary files and restarted the Computer but there is
still this Problem. On other Computers I can print the
Worksheet, but cant figure out whats different on this
machines.
Thanks in advance,

It's probably the stupid HP printer problem again. My only suggestion is to
make sure you have the absolute latest drivers installed, not just a
re-install of your existing ones.

Or..adding to Paul's advice, try backing off to a generic print driver and
see if the issue still exists. I quite often back off latest DeskJet drivers
to the version for the 550 (About 8 years old I guess)

Try deleting your printer, reboot and reinstall your
printer.
Also before doing that, make sure the drivers for the
printer are up to date.
Good Luck!
