Is there a way to automatically sequentially number pages from different tabs
and/or different files?

Also, is there a way to have a page number print portrait style if the print
setting is landscape?

Thank you.

Different tabs, yes, just group them. Click on one sheet tab and hold down
either Shift (contiguous) or Ctrl (non-contiguous) and click on another
sheet tab.

Files...not really unless you can get a copy of MS Binder which stopped
shipping with office after 2000 (It still works in later versions if you can
get hold of the exe file.

Last point...no

For the first answer, you also need to make sure the page numbering field in
Page Setup is set to AUTO or is left blank.
