I have a sheet and have selected columns A thru O to print.  When I print
the selection, the command button I have in column P (outside of the
selection) actually moves to about column C.  This happens with File -
Print, the print button, print preview, and with vb code to print.

I am using Excel XP with Windows XP.

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Controls move to the left of the worksheet in Microsoft Excel 2002

But Jim Rech recently posted this:

This article is now obsolete. Since the 10/12/2004 security patch
there is no need to get a hotfix (although this article does not directly
mention this fix, it's in there).

But others have posted that it didn't work for them in all their workbooks.

Thanks Gord, your information fixed my problem.  I just updated Office XP
this morning and it still had problems.  But after following the advice in
the Microsoft Support article, I was able to work around it.
