Want footer with pagenumber counting till total workbook pages.

I use in my workbook more sheets. How to set in the footer the pagenumer in
format page x of y, where x is the pagenumber counted from the first page of
the first sheet till the last page of the last sheet and y is the total
amount of all pages in my whole book.

Use Excell 2003/Win XP.

Go to Page Setup --> Header/Footer --> Custom Footer and use the buttons to
insert the fields needed. In your case this would be:
&[Page] of &[Pages]
and make sure you put this in the footer of every worksheet.

When you want to print, select the first worksheet. Then hold down shift and
select the last worksheet. They should all be selected. If you now go to
Print Preview you should see the page numbering is automatic across the
whole selection.
