when you go to file, print do you see your printer in the name dropdown.
Also look at Windows Start, Settings, Control Panel, Printers to see
if your printer is there and is not messed up. You may have to cancel
previous output.

I don't think you are understanding my problem. I know that the printer is
installed and working correctly. My problem is that when an Excel file is
transferred from one computer to another via email or a file server, it
prints to the original owner's mailbox on the printer. It seems that somehow
the print settings are being saved and transferred within the file. Is there
any way to stop this?

Here is someone with the same problem (Excel 2003, Outlook mailbox) but
no resolution. View thread still shows only the one posting.thought it might
help with search arguments -- see below
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.excel.misc/msg/1b1a6a7e7483ce9d
Mailbox and other printer-specific settings are saved with an Excel file
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829766
if that doesn't work there are a lot of hits for Google web search with
(if not 2003 try using your own version of Excel)
excel printing mailbox network 2003 site:microsoft.com
off hand from a cursory look, you might make sure that your Excel is up to date
before continuing look for "check for updates" at
