I was printing an Excel document and an error message shows: “Microsoft
Visual C++ Runtime Library, program C:\ Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Office\Excel.exe, abnormal program termination”. I tried uninstalling
and re-installing Office 2000 but the problem remains.

I am thinking that it may be due to my outdated Office version, but it
appears that Office 2000 should be compatible with Windows XP.

Can someone tell me what is the problem? Your help is much appreciated.

Please do tell me what the source of the problem is too, so that I can better
state my problems next time if it re-occurs. Thank YOU!
