Excel Does Not Print

I saw that there was an older thread with the same problem, but decided
to start a new one because there was no solution posted.  I have a user
here that has a HP3700DN ColorLaser Jet attached to her machine.  Excel
will not print anything.  When she clicks to print the printer icon
shows up in the system tray, acts as if it is spooling, then disappears
with no output from the printer at all.  She can print from any other
application she runs, just not excel.  She can print Excel to any of
our other printers in our office through the network, including a
HP4600DN, and a HP4250 and a slew of deskjets.  The only program that
will not print locally is Excel.  I have searched through the MS
knowledgebase and can find alot of solutions for missing text/lines/etc
but have found nothing that suggests a solution for no output at all.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You in advance.

Check to make sure that you are printing to the correct printer and that
you are not printing to a file.     Suggest always using   File, Print  rather
than the toolbar icon.

Thanks for the advise, however if you read the entire post, it says
that printing to any other printer works fine.

I have resolved the problem, but am a little embarrassed that I did not
try it first.  Evidentially there is some type of issue in the shipped
version of Office 2003.  As soon as I installed the Service Pack for
office, everything worked fine.

Thank you for your assistance.

I presume you are just saying you applied Office 2003 Service Pack 1
and the problem was fixed.

Or did you actually find an entry that addresses your problem in the 2003 SP1
documentaiton.
