I have created a Form in Excel 2002 instead of Using Word.
The Form is configured to print over two pages.
The text font sizes Iam using are 12 and 16.
Questions
Why does the printout appear to be using a much smaller font size.
12 looks like 8 and 16 looks like 10.....please advise.
Tools | Options | General Tab show "Standard Font set to 12......I am no
sure just how this setting affects the overall worksheet...please advise.
How do I get the worksheet to print in the font sizes that I enter in the
cells?
Thanks in advance
Hi Dermot,
Printing -- you probably have turned on the option in
File, Page Setup, Page, Scaling (you may have chosen either)
Adjust to xxx% of normal size
Fit to: print _1_ page(s) wide by ___ tall
Note wide and tall are independent you can choose either or both, but they
will shrink the font and cell sized in order to fit as requested.
Display -- you can set the percentage on the "Zoom" toolbar, if not available
it can be found under Tools, customize, Commands(tab), View (left), zoom size (right)

Thanks for your reply David,
As you suggested.....each worksheet is different at settings like 50%, 73%
and 63%.
If I enter "100% Fit to 1 Page" and leave "Pages Tall" blank......
I found that the scaling size readjust automatically on each sheet when I
view the page break screen and drag the blue page break line to the right to
include the form content on one sheet.....returning to the reduced percentage.
I haven't quite worked out how to get around this.
Can you explain a little further what I may be over looking?
Thanks
Dermot

Hi Dermot,
You are missing the radio button, 100% means nothing when
you scale with pages wide or pages tall, So if it won't fit
normally then it will be scaled down.

Hello David,
Nothings ever straight forward eh? Please advise a little further.
Or it may be that I just don't understand these scaled printing
settings....more like it!
I have had a look at the Radio button you mentioned.
This would appear to be part of the problem. I was selecting 100% and then
entering 2 page below and I now notice the radio button jumps over.
So does this mean you can use only one of these methods?
Secondly.....when I enter 100% the appropriate radio button is selected.
When I do this the page break the active worksheet cuts off part of the work
sheet.
Does this mean I need to redesign the worksheet to work within these page
break settings if I want the original font settings instead of scaled down
fonts?
Thanks
Dermot
