Is there a way to clear all print settings, without having to go to "Clear
Print area", "Page Setup" and "Page Break Preview"?

If for instance someone has made so many changes to the printing settings
which I would like to change is there a way to reset the printing area? Can
Excel suggest again the print area?

Regards

hi,
there is a built in icon for that. right click any toolbar. from the pop up,
select customize(at the bottom?). when the customize box comes up, select the
commands tab. on the left side, select file. on the right, scroll down to
"clear print area". notice there is no icon. just text. click and drag the
text to a place on the toolbar then click the Modify selection button. scroll
up to "change button image". here are a number of icons that you can assign.
just click one. click the modify selection button again. scroll up to and
click "text only (in menus)". the text "clear print area" will go away
leaving the icon you selected.
or if you are good with bitmaps.....click the modify selection button again.
scroll up
to "edit button image". here you can modify the icon you selected or create
one of your own design. you can also copy and paste any icon on the tool bar
and edit any icon on the toolbar.
