I recently installed a new HP6940.  Everything else in Office works fine.
When I try to print Excel spreadsheets, it brings up paper from the tray and
makes the sounds of getting ready to print, then it just hangs from there and
comes back and tells me I have an error printing to USB002.   BUT - I can
print to other printers on the network.   I have been on the phone with HP
for HOURS!  I have uninstalled Office and reinstalled.  Before I reformatt my
whole system, hopefully there is something that can be done.  HELP!  Thanks.

Hi,

try to rename the following DLLs

HPBMMON.DLL and HPDCMON.DLL

Rename them to what, if anything, specifically, and won't the printer be
looking for the original file names?  Where would I find these files?  Thanks
Manuel.

I've got the EXACT same problem.  Have you found out anything?  I've totally
reinstalled Office and the HP Printer software without any luck.

YES YES YES!!!  Printing with it set to NORMAL (no fast printing) and the
margins set to AT LEAST 1/2", it prints great!  Yes, uses more ink, but at
least it prints...Hope it works for you too.

THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I did have it set on Fast Printing.  Excellent --- that fixed it.  I
won't go into how many support people I've gone through.  Thanks again.

Just wanted to add my thanks. I was also having trouble printing to an HP
Officejet from Excel. In my case the printer would literally crash when the
document was sent. Ensuring that print quality was set to Normal and margins
of at least .25 worked.

Imagine what we could be... if we could just imagine.
