I am experiencing issues when trying to print Excel 2003 worksheets from
Excel 2007. These are relatively complex in that they do contain graphics,
charts and macros. First, the worksheets print perfectly in 2003 on a wide
array of printers.
However, when printing the same worksheets on the same printers but from
Excel 2007 borders are misaligned, some are offset as much as an inch.
Also, the print area seems to change in 2007 which causes the right side of
the printout to be cut off. Manually resetting the print area on each
worksheet allows everything to fit on the page, as it should but, manually
resetting the print area on every sheet is not a viable solution and some
printers still misalign/offset the borders borders.
In Excel 2007 print preview, the print area issue is apparent but, the
misaligned borders are not evident. Meaning, that if I manually set the
print area the worksheets look correct in the print preview but, on some
printers the borders are misaligned when actually printed.
Tanks in advance.

I am having a very similar problem. We updated all Office 2007
components with no luck. It basically makes Excel 2007 unusable for
our office. The only solution is to open the file in Excel 2003 and
print from there.
In our specific case, we are just trying to print a bar chart that's
embedded in a worksheet. When we click on the chart and then click
print preview, it looks fine. But the actual printout usually results
in one corner printing out. We're certain the printer setup is
correct. This is supported by the fact that we can sometimes copy the
chart to a new worksheet and then succesfully print from there.
However, this workaround isn't 100% since sometimes the X-axis text
overlaps (but wraps correctly when opened in 2003). It's a strange
but hugely annoying (apparent) bug.
