I was perusing your email code in:
www.rondebruin.nl/mail/folder1/mail2.htm
and I don't see where the code opens Outlook Express or Outlook.  Must one
of those files be open before running the code?
I am trying to help an OP who has an email program:
C:\Program Files\Mozilla Thunderbird\thunderbird.exe
From reading your notes, I realize your code may not work with his program,
but I thought I would try that before telling him he has to use OE or
Outlook.
Thanks for your time.  Otto

Hi Otto

Never test the code with Thunderbird but it is possible that it not work.
But first check the users default mail program

Start>Settings>Control Panel....Internet options (Program Tab)
Close Excel first before you make a change.
