Hi, I have a worksheet which was given to me which already has a Combobox
attached to a cell within the worksheet and when a selection is made from
the drop-down box  a value can be chosen from a lookup range of cells
located lower in the worksheet.

I have tried to edit the existing Combobox on the sheet to use as an example
but it could be that whoever made the original has applied protection
because no editing can be done.

I have tried every way I can think of to find how to attach a Combobox from
the Control toolbox into a cell on a new workbook but without success.

I can get a Combobox onto the worksheet but not as part of a cell. I can get
the Combobox to resize too when the column width is adjusted but .... the
whole thing becomes stretched and distorted and doesn't act as if it
embedded within the cell. The Combobox on the original worksheet always
remains proportioned exactly. I have tried setting the properties and the
format values but still no joy.

Am I missing a trick here  ?
Any advice would be welcome

Regards

Fred

Hi Fred,

Instead of inserting a module, you can paste the codes in Sheet1
(Sheet1) in VBA

Thnx
