MS Office Forum / Excel / Programming / November 2007get from Excel 2003 add-in to Excel 2007 add-in
All, OK, I know I am having a mental block, but I cannot seem to transfer my 2003 add-in to a 2007 add-in. I opened the AddIn.xls with Excel 2007 and saved it as a .xlsm. Then when I open the .xlsm and try to get to the VBA editor by selecting View/Macros, I see all of my macros, but they are "dimmed out". What am I missing here? I do remember the password, but Excel 2007 does not prompt for it. Any thoughts? James Was VBA installed with Office 2007? If you press Alt-F11 in Excel does it open the VBE?
