I have a user of Excel 2000 reporting to me that upon opening my Excel file
which has two command buttons (from control toolbox), the buttons do not
appear, i.e. they are invisible.

I created the file in Excel 2002, and tested it with Excel 2000 and even
Excel 97.  I have never had this type of problem reported to me before now.

Is it possible that he has something set in his overall Excel environment
such that buttons do not appear?

Is the end user tryin gto access the spreadsheet via Citrix. I have had
issues with command buttons not showing up in a Citrix environment. I ended
up just using buttons from the forms toolbar as it was the easiest solution
at the time...

No, I emailed the file to him, and he retrieved it from his ISP with Outlook.
He is not part of a corporate environment.
