Using Autofilter to prompt for criteria

I created a macro that will autofilter for certain records.  I was thinking
of creating a query but the autofilter will return only the records
specified, correct.  If so, then is there a way to write within the macro to
display a popup for prompting for criteria that would be entered into the
popup and the macro complete from there?
