Hide and lock a sheet from a workbook

Is there anyway to have hide and lock a spreadsheet
within a workbook. I have some confidential information
for a couple sales guys that each access. I don't want
anyone to be able to see information on a different sheet.

I tried hiding and locking but the use can still go into
options and unhide. I also found VB code to hide, etc. ---
I guess my concern is to make sure that only specific
sheets can be viewed by specific users....

Make sense?

Thanks.

Makes perfectly good sense, but excel's protection isn't made for this kind of
security.

If you don't want others to see your data, don't put it in excel.

(There's code posted here that'll unprotect worksheets and workbooks within
moments.)

Anyone interested enough could see everything.
