Hello,
I have a user that is running Excel 2000 on a Windows 2000
pro machine. She is opening up (2) 28.5MB excel
spreadsheet files at the same time. When she opens the 2nd
spreadsheet she is getting an error Not enough memory. The
machine has 512Mb of ram with a swap file of 768MB set to
applications for performance. The 2 excel files have
linked data files. Is there away of setting excel to user
more of the physical memory? The task manager shows Excel
is using only 108Mb of ram with the 2 spreadsheets at the
time of error. and there is about 260-300 Mb of free
system cache.
Any thought on how to solve this issue?

Thanks for any advice,

Andre
