I am new to MS Office and have no idea how to use it.  I have Office 97.  Can
anyone recommend a new users book.  I have Learn MS Office 97 in 24 hours but
it doesn't have any projects to do hands on.

Office in general sites.........

Excel specific sites......

These give the basics.

For more complex Excelling you can find a list of good books at Debra
Dalgleish's site.

For examples and methods there are some good sites that are referred to quite
regularly in these groups.

http://www.j-walk.com/ss/

http://www.mcgimpsey.com/excel/index.html

http://www.tushar-mehta.com

This list does not cover all the sites available and are in no particular
order of excellence.
