I bought the education package for Office Pro and I
loaded it.  The package is supposed to have excel and I
can't find it on my computer with a search.  I must be
installing it incorrectly.  Anybody know how to install
this and find excel?

What is "the education package"? Do you mean an Academic version? Excel's
application program file is called excel.exe; can you find it on your pc?

Do you mean the "Office Student and Teacher Edition 2003" or some other
version?

How did you install?  Typical or Custom?

When searching for "excel.exe"(no quotes)make sure your settings are not set
to "hide known file extensions" and "show all files" is checked.

This would be in My Computer>Tools>Folder Options>View>File and Folders
section.

If can't find, go to Control Panel>Add/Renmove and click on Office and
"Change"

Go through the menu items to see if Excel was installed.  Sometimes it helps
to un-install then re-install items.
