How to get/download "3of9.ttf" font type for Windows 2000 using Excel 2000 ?

hi,
are you talke about 3 of 9 barcode font?
xl2k came with that installed. or at least my xl2k did.
format>cells>font tab
its at the top of the font list.

Hi FSt1,

My computer is Wins XP and I'm using Office Edition 2003. IT does not have
3 of 9 barcode font and I got the " 3of9.ttf " from a friend long time ago
and installed the font on my computer. For example, the value in cell A1
= 12345 and equivalent value in 3of9 barcode is in cell B1. When I print
this out, I have no problem scanning the barcode.

My co-worker's computer (Wins 2K) does not have 3 of 9 barcode font .
And he's using Excel 2000 version. I used my " 3of9.ttf" and installed in
his computer.
But the barcode was very difficult to scan.

I think this is not the right TTF file for Wins 2K ... but not sure. do
you know how to get the right one ?

hi,
I check a few machine in our office which most have xl2k and 2 had xl97.
all had 3 of 9 barcode fonts.
i check word2k and it had 3 of 9 barcode.
I know access has 3 of 9 barcode becasue that is what i used to barcode all
of our shipping and receiving lables.
I asked our network guy who installed xl2k if he did anything special or
installed any extra fonts. he said no.
In the past, i have posted to a number of people in newsgroups who had
barcode questions and they all seem to have 3 of 9 barcode font on their
machines.
i was under the impression that 3 of 9 barcode font came standard in all MS
products so i don't know why you don't have it on yours.

but if you don't, then you don't. see this site.

do a google. you'll find more.

Hi FSt1,

Thanks for your help ... it's working now !!!! Somehow the "regular"
version does not work so I installed the "extended" one . And this work
fine.
