I had to have a new tower on my pc at work.  I had to redo all colors and
everything else.  I have a problem on Excel 2000.  Before when I selected
rows the row number appeared in black as I scrolled down to select more rows.
Now it the row number turns white when I select that row and on the other
rows I select.  I cannot find anything in help on my pc nor on the Microsoft
website help.  Does anyone know how to change the selected row numbers back
to black?  I have already done Options view automatic.

This may have more to do with the color scheme(themes) in Windows than an Excel
function.  Excel takes its color scheme from the theme you have set.

Right-click on desktop and Properties.  Check what theme you're using.

Experiment with different themes untill you find one you like.
