I recently got upgraded to Excel 2003 and the Favorites button that used to
be on the left side of the open file screen of Excel 2002 is no longer there.
I found 2 Favorites folders in the c: drive and put both of them there,
however, I am unable to save files in the Favorites folder from the excel
file open/save screen like I used to in Excel 2002.  Please help!!

It turns out that you can add or remove those really big buttons on the
left-side of the save-as dialog box.

First start with My Computer and then drill down to Favorites.
Then pull-down Tools and check Add to "My Places"

By right-clicking any of the buttons, you can make them either big or small.

Hi, thank you very much for the reply.  I did add the big buttons and I see
it now on the left hand side when I'm opening files from Excel.  However, do
you know how would I be able to save a file in the favorites folder from
excel?  There used to be a choice of "add to my favorites" in excel 2002,
open/save folder window, but that choice is no longer there in excel 2003.
Thank you!
