MS Office Forum / Excel / Setup / August 2006file open details option stopped working
My file open details option no longer works. I can get icons and a list but not details with file name, date, etc. Look on the icons on it's toolbar you will see one for details, cycle through the choice until you see your detail list. I can get icons and a list but > > not details with file name, date, etc. I wasn't even aware of the information before, so I experimented by clicking on the Icons at left and lost the expanded detail information. Click on "My Documents" on left side, click on the Detail View icon to see detail if not there. You should see your list.
