cd key for excel

hi...a friend of mine gave me a disk that has excel on it so i could download
it and use it for my volunteer work...it's asking for the cd key, but i don't
have it and she doesn't either. i cant use excel until i put this key
in...how do i go about getting it so i can use excel?

A disk that has Excel on it? This sounds like an illegal copy, which would
not be legal to install even if you could get a key. If it is a legitimate
copy, supplied by MS, and the original owner is giving it away or selling
it, they should have the key required.
