question on opening up a blank worksheet

I don't know what I have done. But now, when I click on Excel,
"personal" blank spreadsheet opens up instead of "Book1".
Does it matter? I prefer that Book1 would appear.

Personal.xls is usually a hidden workbook for those who use it.

Next time you open excel and see personal.xls, try:

window|Hide
then
close excel, but answer yes to the "do you want to save changes to personal.xls"
prompt.

Then reopen excel to try it out.
