Shared folder: Opening 2 docs at the same time

Have you got an answer?  Netware 6 and MSOffice
2000.  When 2 people open the same doc - we do not get the
message that file is in use and open as Read Only - thus
causing lots of problems?

It may be worth trolling the Novell site and see if there are any issues,
but has someone set the XL file to share? (Tools>Share Workbook...)

If they have, that is your problem and IMHO not a good idea, XL doesn't
share well, use Access.
